Nice to Meet You

I’ve always loved photos, not just taking them, but what they become over time.

I love looking back at photos of my own family, from generations before me and from my childhood, and feeling that connection to where I came from. Those images tell stories I would never know otherwise. They remind me of people I miss, seasons I didn’t realize I’d one day long for, and moments that shaped who we are.

Now, I feel that even more as I document my own family as we grow. I want to remember all of the messy days, the loud days, the quiet in-between ones, because I know how quickly it changes.

That’s a big part of why I do what I do for others, too. These aren’t just photos for today. They’re memories for years down the road.

When I’m not working, I’m usually with my family doing life together, the messy, loud, meaningful kind of life I wouldn’t trade for anything. We live in Riverton, UT and we moved here over 5-years ago.

I’ve been married to my best friend for 20 years, and we have 4 kids and 3 dogs who keep things interesting, to say the least. I love being outside, traveling when we can, and finding inspiration in the little everyday moments at home.

I also have a big love for art, history, and storytelling in all forms, and I think all of that naturally shows up in how I see the world through my camera.

Just honest, beautiful, meaningful moments that reflect who you are right now – in this season of life. Because these moments don’t stay forever… but photographs can.
